it's been almost a year since i've posted anything on here!
i started a tumblr almost a year ago (nudepumpsandredstilettos.tumblr.com) and have been posting (probably too often) there since. the thing i have about blogs is i can't decide the line between public vs. private, though i guess most people have that issue. tumblr seems like a twitter for pictures and quotes and random thoughts; blogspot seems a little more personal but then again, how much do you really want to share online?
in any case... i've been working at this job for almost a year now! it's amazing to look back and think about all the things i've learned here. it's true, really, college and work are really so different.. and looking back it's really cool to me, to see how much i've learned and grown at each step. (and also how much i thought i already knew at each step)
i moved apartments in august; i LOVE my new place! i think my favorite parts are the little kitchen (just big enough for one :)) and my queen-sized bed! i also splurged and got memory foam, so i really, REALLY love my bed now! it's really cute and cozy, it's in a great location--close enough to the center of things, but far away enough to be remote.. i have the best landlord ever, as in, i never have to see him because i pay my rent directly to his account, and we only communicate by email when i need something.. it took me forever to find the place, during the process i was so stressed out, but it was worth it :)
i've traveled a lot in the past six months as well--i've actually left Taiwan at least once per month since November: Boracay, Australia, Thailand, Cambodia, and Boracay (Philippines) again. It sounds crazy I'm sure, and on one hand, it even felt crazy! But it was so worth it.. and now looking forward to the next two months when work will be too busy for me to take time off.... sigh. I mean, at the time, traveling out of the country every three weeks felt a little tiring and overwhelming, but now.. the grass is still always greener!!
i wish i could go back to college!
